The Insurance Distribution Management team provides support to carrier's home office staff across the producer lifecycle, from managing contracting, licensing, and appointment processes to calculating commissions and supporting reporting capabilities for carriers. Practitioners will work hand-in-hand with sales operations support staff within our clients' back offices to make sure that carrier compliance rules are appropriately managed and producers are paid accurately and on time, and serviced appropriately.

The Finance & Accounting Managed Services team provides support by addressing the challenges of achieving appropriate standards of control, efficient back-office opportunities, transforming finance function by executing strategies to reduce functional and operational complexity through streamlined processes, optimising use of technology, and efficiently using resources to deliver cost-effective, high-quality services to all stakeholders. The team delivers core finance & accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Compliance and Controls, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, General Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax, and Treasury.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and/or success in managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs:   

Trains junior team members to develop skills; 

Leads client status meetings and extract applicable metrics; 

Manages overall engagement operations, liaises with internal engagement leaders, reporting wins, risks, and concerns; 

Coaches and mentors staff as necessary for success; 

Oversees overall project management, including financials; 

Owns client relationships; 

Leads resource planning; 

Possesses fundamental knowledge and experience in support/service management ; 

Involves key business and strategic priorities leveraged to oversee and manage a team providing technical financial guidance and support in the areas of financial operations, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and profitability improvement for managed services client’s;   

Monitors the business environment for trends that could potentially affect the success of our clients; 

Demonstrates knowledge of leading Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) methodologies and technology advances, and take action to address them in the solutions services offered to our clients; 

Analyzes financial data, identifies reporting needs, prepares recommendations to management, utilizing industry-leading practices and extensive financial and quantitative skills ; 

Develops business plans and forecasts, budget comparisons, ad hoc financial analysis for our clients in an efficient and disciplined operations model; 

Confirms the integrity and accuracy of the financial reporting and analysis provided; 

Supports FP&A Senior Managers in providing decision-making and problem-solving issues affecting individual client functions and influencing client leadership in the execution/implementation of programs, initiatives, and strategy; 

Provides strategic and technical direction for department, Finance leadership and projects;  

Coaches and develops members of the FP&A operation team members in a wide variety of areas including but not limited to teaming, interpersonal skills, relationship building, leadership skills, strategy and business knowledge; 

Communicates and collaborates effectively, emphasizing presentation development and delivery; 

Works independently using project management skills; 

Builds and sustains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;  

Learns quickly and uses effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address deadline-sensitive involving FP&A and related managed services matters; 

Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), SAP (S4Hana), and Tableau; and, 

Has preferred proficiency in Hyperion and Anaplan.
