Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team in the Business Management industry, specifically within a CA Firm located in South Denver. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will also be responsible for reconciling bank and credit card accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and procedures, and providing support to clients. Responsibilities • Accurately maintain and balance the general ledger and subsidiary accounts • Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, such as invoicing and payment processing • Regularly reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure financial accuracy • Prepare financial reports periodically and offer insights for client engagements • Assist in closing processes at the end of the month and year • Comply with relevant standards, procedures, and tax regulations to maintain financial integrity • Provide support to clients through phone and email for routine bookkeeping inquiries • Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved promptly. • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP), managing bills, and ensuring timely payments to prevent any discrepancies. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), effectively managing all incoming payments and maintaining accurate records. • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations, comparing internal financial records against monthly statements from financial institutions. • Solid background in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Excellent data entry skills, ensuring quick and accurate input of financial data. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data. • Experience in managing Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is reconciled and reported accurately. • Knowledge of Payroll processes, including processing wages, calculating deductions, and managing records. • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial data, including invoicing, tracking expenses, and generating reports.
