Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves managing various financial tasks within the property management industry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Responsibilities: • Handling all aspects of bookkeeping and maintaining comprehensive financial records • Processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions • Conducting regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations • Managing payroll duties and ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting tasks • Overseeing the month-end close process and ensuring all financial data is accurately reported • Assisting with budgeting tasks to help manage the company's financial resources effectively • Utilizing QuickBooks for various financial tasks and reporting • Ensuring all financial data entered into the system is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must. • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential. • Must have strong Bookkeeping skills. • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. • Experience in Month End Close procedures is desirable. • Understanding of Payroll systems and procedures is a must. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
