Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis in Canonsburg, PA. In this role, you will handle bookkeeping responsibilities while leveraging your strong knowledge of QuickBooks to manage financial records accurately. Responsibilities: + Maintain and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring accurate processing and timely payments. + Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. + Record daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, and adjustments, in QuickBooks. + Prepare and generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. + Process payroll and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws as required. + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate reporting. + Collaborate with management and external accountants during audits and tax preparation. + Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. + Use effective communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and other team members as required. Requirements + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or related accounting role (1-3 years preferred). + Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop or online versions). + Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and general accounting best practices. + Familiarity with payroll processes and tax regulations is a plus. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
