Bookkeeper
Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in the transport industry based in Sellersburg, Indiana. This role provides a long term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle various tasks such as account reconciliation, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Accurately perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date • Manage accounts payable to ensure all financial information is properly recorded • Handle accounts receivable duties, ensuring all invoices are issued and settled in a timely manner • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and data entry tasks • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tracking and reporting tasks • Conduct month-end close processes to ensure all financial data is accurate • Manage payroll duties to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time • Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks Requirements • Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all accounts are accurately updated and discrepancies are resolved promptly. • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring all outgoing payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. • Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all incoming payments are recorded accurately and promptly. • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all banking transactions are recorded accurately and any differences are identified and resolved. • Experience in Bookkeeping is required, maintaining accurate financial records for the company. • Must have strong data entry skills, ensuring all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, utilizing the software for data analysis and financial reporting. • Experience with Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial records are accurate at the end of each month. • Knowledge of Payroll procedures, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. • Familiarity with QuickBooks software is essential, using the software for a variety of financial tasks. • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online is necessary, utilizing the online platform for financial management tasks.
