Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Anaheim, California. As a Bookkeeper, you will manage the financial transactions of our operations, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping. You will also be responsible for invoicing and billing, payroll support, budgeting and reporting, tax preparation assistance, expense management, and compliance and record-keeping. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger adjustments. • Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements on a monthly basis. • Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on late payments to ensure timely collections. • Process payroll for all employees and ensure compliance with local tax and employment regulations. • Collaborate with management to prepare monthly budget reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections. • Organize and maintain records for yearly tax filings and partner with external accountants to provide accurate financial data. • Review and approve business expenses and ensure records are categorized appropriately. • Ensure financial and accounting practices comply with state and federal regulations and maintain an organized system for financial records. Requirements • Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Extensive knowledge and experience in Bookkeeping • Skilled in Data Entry • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of Payroll processes • Proficiency in QuickBooks software • Experience with Lightspeed software • Familiarity with ADP - Payroll system Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
