Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in Mount Kisco, New York. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing and reconciling accounts, handling both payable and receivable accounts, and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded. Responsibilities • Accurately manage and reconcile accounts • Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks efficiently • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Perform data entry tasks to keep financial records updated • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management • Execute end of the month financial closure activities • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner • Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Must have a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is needed • Demonstrated ability in Bookkeeping is essential • Proficient in Data Entry tasks • Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close processes is required • Knowledge of Payroll processes is necessary • Must have proficiency in QuickBooks software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
