Description Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in accounting. You will assist with various bookkeeping tasks, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the accurate maintenance of our financial records. Key Responsibilities: + Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system, ensuring all records are up to date. + Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with processing invoices, tracking payments, and managing outgoing bills. + Bank Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly. + Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll, including entering employee hours and deductions. + Filing and Organization: Maintain organized records of financial documents, receipts, and invoices. + Reporting Assistance: Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and assist in generating other financial documentation as needed. + Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations related to financial recordkeeping. Qualifications: + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + Experience: No prior experience required, but internships or coursework in accounting are a plus. + Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) is preferred; basic computer skills are essential. + Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. + Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. + Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment. + Willingness to Learn: Eager to learn and develop skills in accounting and bookkeeping.
