Our client, a leading manufacturer beauty industry, is looking for a Boiler Operator to join their team in Chatsworth, CA. This role involves operating and maintaining key power plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient facility operations across shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain power plant systems including boilers, wastewater systems, high-pressure water, and water softening equipment.Monitor and adjust equipment gauges and instrumentation for steam, water, gas, and air pressure.Conduct diagnostics on equipment failures and perform preventative maintenance.Keep detailed performance logs and reports on gas usage, water treatment, chemical levels, and more.Maintain lubricant inventory and coordinate with purchasing for restocking parts and supplies.Execute full facility startups and shutdowns involving major systems such as HVAC and air compressors.Adhere to safety protocols and assist with various facility-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.Valid Unlimited Boiler License (county-issued).Minimum of 5 years of experience operating industrial boiler systems.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders and scaffolds, and remain on feet for extended periods.Comfortable reading technical manuals, drawings, and performing documentation tasks.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $40 – $45/hour (based on experience).Schedule: Must be available for either 1st or 2nd shift and open to overtime as needed.1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
