Minimum Education Required Master's Degree Responsibilities Provides clinical consultation to individuals being treated on the unit.Responsible for the development of assessment, intervention and monitoring strategies, including written behavioral plans, data collection processes and reviewing data collected. Coordinates and/or provides training for staff working with individuals with developmental disabilities.Facilitates case consultation with an individual’s treatment team.Participates in daily clinical rounds with the unit’s team.Participates in discharge planning when special training is required.Proactively identifies clinical risks and potential safety issues for clients. Ensures comprehensive and continuous communication between staff, clients, families and programs.Provides an environment of quality service by meeting or exceeding the needs of the client, vendor, community and agency. Qualifications Master’s Degree in psychology or related field.Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.Must have extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral interventions and experience working with developmentally disabled individuals exhibiting severe behavior problems.Basic computer knowledge.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to use sound judgment.Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.Must hold a valid driver’s license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.
