We have an opportunity for a BMC Helix Developer to join our talented IT Services team. The successful candidate will have fluency in BMC development principles that enables them to work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the BMC Helix platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities.

 

Responsibilities

Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.Provide technical leadership and training, perform peer code reviews and ensure the BMC team follows development best-practicesAbility to create workflow objects and understanding the existing implementationMust be able to troubleshoot application logs (SQL, API, Filter, Active Links etc.) and provide solutions.Experience in working with BMC Helix Version 21.03 or higherExperience with ARS version 8.x, 19.x, 20x - Hands on knowledge in BMC Helix Workflow objects work experience in troubleshooting AR client and Server logsAbility to work in a collaborative multiapplication team environmentGenerate operational reports and KPI analysis as neededPrepare client facing and internal deliverables that are technology relatedTransform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasksMaintain production system reliability through utilization of change management processMonitor health, usage and overall compliance of the applicationAble to work autonomously with minimal supervision.Able to juggle multiple assignments at once and prioritize.Able to work under tight timelines and project milestones in a fast-paced environment Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business-related discipline5+ years of hands-on experience as a BMC Helix developerExperience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology5 years of experience with ITIL Service Management processes - ITIL certifications preferred5 years of Database administration, preferably MS SQL Server and PostgresMust have 5+ years of experience in writing custom workflows using Helix forms and objects like Active Links, Filters and Escalations.Extensive development experience with CMDB and Asset Management.Previous experience working with and mentoring junior BMC Helix developersUnderstanding and experience related to advanced BMC Helix development including Pentaho Spoon and webservices (REST & SOAP)Must be able to meet government eligibility requirementsThis is a W-2, Full-Time, Remote position.
