Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a skilled Blow Mold Utility! In this role, you will operate and troubleshoot Uniloy blow mold machines, ensuring the production of high-quality containers. Your responsibilities will include performing machine set-ups, coordinating process operations for efficiency, and maintaining accurate production and quality control records. If you have experience with PLC programming, a commitment to safety, and a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply. This position has an hourly rate of $18.00, in addition to an annual incentive bonus.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operate and troubleshoot blow mold machines, specifically UniloyBring machines from a cold condition to full production, ensuring containers meet quality specifications
Retrieve and evaluate PLC programming information, making necessary adjustments
Ensure adherence to quality standards
Perform daily set-ups, bottle size changeovers, quality checks, and machine profile changes
Maintain daily production and quality control records for assigned lines
Coordinate process operations for efficiency, communicating with production personnel
Stay updated on process alterations and procedures through reading logs, special procedures, and posted notices
Maintain housekeeping and a clean work area and support all Safety Programs
What You’ll Bring
Experience working in a facility with Blow MoldersPrevious experience with Uniloy machines is a plus
Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with basic hand tools
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Work conditions involve both non-temperature and temperature-controlled environments, the possibility of high noise levels, and adherence to Health and Safety and GMP regulations, with a willingness to work overtime when necessary
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
