Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a proactive Maintenance Manager! Drive key metrics for safety, quality, cost, and production, surpassing budgeted goals. Lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and implement the Maintenance Program for continuous improvement. Ensure success in operational and maintenance metrics, communicate effectively with the management team, and analyze equipment performance. Develop and maintain PM systems, manage Capital Expense Projects, and mentor the team for growth. Drive rapid problem-solving, achieve cost reduction targets, and enhance standardized work. What You’ll Be Doing

Drive departmental metrics for safety, quality, cost, and production to meet or exceed budgeted goals

  Lead cross-functional teams in key productivity initiatives

  Develop and deliver on budgets for this function, MRO, and others

  Implement the Maintenance Program for continuous improvement through good manufacturing principles

  Ensure success in operational and maintenance metrics, including delivery, productivity, and quality

  Communicate daily with the management team on safety, quality, scheduling, delivery, workload capacity, and staffing

  Analyze equipment performance to identify continuous improvement opportunities

  Develop and maintain an effective and sustainable PM system supporting plant productivity

  Manage and implement Capital Expense Projects

  Evaluate individuals' performance within the department, mentoring and developing the team

  Drive rapid problem-solving and root cause analysis from the production floor

  Achieve cost reduction targets, reduce waste, improve quality, and resolve ergonomic issues

  Understand and identify EHS hazards, risks, and controls at the site

  Drive the creation and improvement of standardized work.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

  5+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility with lean practices

  Thorough understanding of manufacturing operations

  Excellent communication and organizational skills

  Detail-oriented, multitasking ability, and able to prioritize workload

  Work well in a fast-paced environment

  Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of the organization

  Experience with integrated/computerized manufacturing systems, JDE preferred

  Strong knowledge of QS9000, ISO 14001, and EPA regulations

  Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel

  Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S experience preferred

  Deadline-driven with a focus on delivering quality results

  Work in diverse environmental conditions, including exposure to unpleasant odors, non-temperature-controlled settings with high temperatures and humidity, potential high noise levels depending on location, and constant interaction with various chemicals and chemical products
