Our growing company is seeking to hire a Blaser (Production Operator) at our Beaver Dam East location. You will be responsible for using high-pressure equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting.   

 

A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:

Shovels or pours abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot specified into machine.Masks specified areas of object to protect from erosion.Loads parts in enclosed rooms, tumbling barrels, or cabinets.Starts equipment that directs blast or flow of compressed air over surface of parts.Directs nozzle over surface of large parts or inserts arms through glove fitted cabinet openings and manipulates small parts under nozzle for specified intervals.Examines finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications. Responsible for transacting parts on the computer.Responsible for applying rust preventative, banding/packing skids, and verifying part count.Moving product in/out of work area using forklift.Properly prepare abrasive media waste for transport.Keep records up to date on daily logs.All other duties assigned.

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?

One-three months of related experience is preferred.Must be able to read blueprints, work orders, and follow instructions.Must be willing to get respirator trained.Must have some forklift driving experience.
