Blackstone Professional Development Manager Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly results-oriented Blackstone Professional Development Manager to join us in our Lansdowne, VA, Scottsdale, AZ, or Washington, D.C. Office. As Blackstone Professional Development Manager, you are a vital part of the Team. In this role, you will report to the VP of Blackstone Legal Fellowship supporting the Blackstone Legal Fellowship Professional Development program. This position manages all aspects of the Blackstone job boards and serves as a point of contact for applicants to the program. You will also oversee the launch and management of Industry Groups including program operations management, event planning, database management, and stakeholder engagement. Your Essential Responsibilities: In this position, you will: + Manage all aspects of the Blackstone job board, including, but not limited to, updating the employment profiles of Fellows as they change with the Alumni team, connecting with allies who want to post positions on the ADF job board, and serving as the primary point of contact. + In alignment with the Blackstone Professional Development Strategy, independently work with Blackstone Fellows in career transitions by assessing issues and connecting them with various Blackstone Fellows for clerkship interviews, members of the Blackstone staff, Contract Professional Advisors, and Allies for advising. + Serve as a secondary point of contact, as needed, for Allies and applicants for the Blackstone Legal Fellowship-related summer internship opportunities during each cycle and develop a level of knowledge of the applicants and internship opportunities. + Manage and oversee Professional Development Program Events: Plan and Execute Events: Manage professional development events, including webinars and in-person sessions, from concept to completion. Oversee Logistics: Coordinate all logistical aspects, such as platform setup for webinars and venue arrangements for in-person events. Manage Participant Engagement: Handle registration, communication, and support for attendees to ensure a positive event experience. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with speakers, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event execution. Collect Feedback and Report: Gather post-event feedback and create reports to assess effectiveness and guide future improvements. + Provide general support for other Blackstone professional development projects and initiatives as needed.
