Job Title: Bistro Mixologist 

Salary/Shift: $14.00 + TIPS

Status: Full Time

 

 

Located in beautiful Black Hawk, CO, the Monarch Resort Spa seeks a passionate Chophouse Mixologist to join our team!  You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team.  

Responsibilities Develops training, testing, and accountability for Bartenders, ensuring adherence to cocktail recipes and procedures, and oversees bartender trainers.Greets and communicates with guests courteously, ensures prompt service, and maintains knowledge of beverage and food menus.Properly mixes and serves drinks, adheres to alcoholic beverage laws and regulations, and circulates to provide superior guest service.Maintains a clean and safe work environment, follows health and safety standards, operates POS systems, and handles cash accurately.Requires at least 5 years of experience as a bartender and food server in high-volume settings, advanced mixology knowledge, and experience with original cocktail menu creation. Qualifications

 

Maintain updated knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor brands, as well as cocktail ingredients, garnishes, and proper glassware.Continuously monitor for signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety and enjoyment.Follow company and departmental policies and procedures, meeting leader expectations.Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
