Position Description: 

Our Biomedical Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices in hospitals throughout the United States, with the support of an on-site team. The current product line being supported are infusion pumps.

Responsibilities: 

·        Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.

·        Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.

·        Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration. 

·        Manage project timelines and customer needs.

·        Part-time commitment requiring travel and flexibility with typical weeks entailing 40+ hours of work.

·        Assignment-based schedule that typically require 1 – 3 weeks onsite.  3 weeks of open availability a month required. Travel nationally to support customer needs.

Job Experience Requirements: 

Minimum 1 year related technical experience required3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferredExperience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred for this positionPrior military veterans with experience in an electronics, maintenance, or IT related MOS encouraged to apply!Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required

An active and unrestricted driver license is required for this position Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsMust have a personal vehicle and be willing to use it for job related assignments up to 3 hours from homeMust be located within 1 hour of a major airportAbility to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision requiredAbility to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including providing proof of up-to-date vaccination status, required

The potential base pay range for this role is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
