We're seeking a talented Biomedical Systems Engineer to investigate and resolve complex medical software complaints. In this critical role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement effective solutions, and ensure product quality and patient safety.
What you will doDesign and implement complex concepts, draft design documentation, plan and conduct relevant tests under professional leadership
Use Software engineering skills to prototype complex concepts involving user interface design and algorithm development
Apply processes and Standards prescribed within the healthcare industry and adopted within Stryker Robotics division
Integrates and administers development tools including required validation under close professional leadership
Investigates defined issues with uncertain cause including input solicitation and data gathering that help differentiate the symptoms and root cause of defined problems and propose problem resolutions.
Meet the needs of internal customers such as GQO, AO, AQE etc. as applicable for specific project assignments.
Work under supervision of Lead System designer and work with surgeon customers in a user setting, clearly communicate design goals and incorporate feedback into designs.
What you needRequired Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or Medical Software.
6 – 10 years of experience with minimum 2 years in similar role of medical application development.
Basic Knowledge Human Anatomy and Physiology & good understanding of Radiology Imaging techniques and Protocols.
Troubleshooting skills for analyzing product complaints.
Be detailed oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Working Knowledge with Qt/QML & Unit testing
Participate in, solicit feedback and document reports as needed on cadaver evaluations
Use of risk management practices & experience in developing test protocols/procedures and collecting and analyzing data.
Travel Percentage: 10%
