You will be required to support the delivery of the business BIM strategy on numerous projects, support the internal and external design team in creating, coordinating and sharing 3D design and construction information across common data environments and BIM platforms. You will report to the business BIM Lead and be innovative in seeking the best solutions ensuring that we always deliver service excellence to our clients. **What you’ll be doing…** + Access to the latest BIM Software and Integration Platforms. + Deliver 3D modelling expertise to a variety of multidisciplinary projects. + Actively support the BIM Manager with the development of skills and capabilities of the design teams to assist project delivery within a BIM compliant project environment, relevant to project team needs. + Interfacing with multi-disciplinary project teams and supporting BIM & Digital Delivery benefits at project level. + Assist in creating and deploying the Employers Information Requirements (EIRs) and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) specific to each project. + Learning new software and processes. **What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…** + BIM (Building Information Modelling) & Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience working in both 2D and 3D + Experience of relevant software such as Revit, Navisworks & BIM360/ACC. Working with central models via ACC / ACC secure (Min 3 years’ experience would be beneficial). + Able to manage data in a secure and controlled manner. + Demonstrable experience of operating in a BIM compliant environment. + Ability to manage own workload & work as part of a team. + A clear understanding of Building Information Modelling and the benefits it brings to the construction Industry, our projects and our service delivery. + A multidisciplinary approach to coordination, independent of background. + Ability to lead design teams through clash detection to successful conclusions, maintaining consistency across multiple BIM models and implementing workflows to achieve this. + Lead the delivery of BIM multidisciplinary coordination. + Have an awareness of industry standards such as ISO:19650, in particular parts 1 and 2 and the UK annex. A good appreciation of the “Golden Thread” process and mitigating potential error. + Knowledge of CDE set up and maintenance and an ability to pass on knowledge and training to others. + Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC) + Have an ability to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively + Have the ability to engage with clients and contractors in technical discussions and debates. **Qualifications** + Experience in Revit design modelling and BIM Coordination from early concept design though to on site. + Able to manage data in a secure and controlled manner.
