Billing Coordinator
Overview The Billing Coordinator is responsible for managing the billing processes of the PepsiCo Global Communications function. This includes obtaining the necessary documentation and approvals, setting up vendor numbers, tracking and paying invoices, researching and resolving payment issues, and supporting period, quarterly, and year-end close procedures. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Operations for PepsiCo Communications. Responsibilities Review and verify vendor documents e.g. invoices, MSAs, SOWs, etc., including new vendor set-ups and related documentation Route invoices for approval, ensuring accurate coding (e.g. cost centers, internal order numbers, tax categories), keeping track to ensure they are processed and paid on time. Utilize expediting and prompt payment procedures where necessary Set up new vendor numbers as needed, including ACH forms and 1099 documentation Partner with finance team as needed to ensure period spend and forecasts are reflected accurately Research and resolve payment issues as they arise Assist finance team and operations lead with accrual process. Attend trainings for latest billing process software and procedures. Occasional ad-hoc team support as needed Above responsibilities apply to all Global Communications sub-teams including Employee Communications, Brand Communications, Corporate Communications and Social/Digital Communications, as well as U.S. Beverages Communications Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $59,000 - $88,500. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar billing role. Proficiency in SAP and other PepsiCo billing software systems Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience in managing budgets and forecasts.
