Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Billing / Coding Supervisor for an upcoming project supporting a team of medical coders. This full-time role offers a primarily remote work environment with occasional travel.
Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise & Support a team of remote medical coders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with federal standardsMonitor Performance Metrics, analyze coding productivity and accuracy, and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure Compliance with DHA, DoD, and MHS GENESIS® medical coding policies and regulationsProvide Training & Guidance to enhance coder proficiency and keep staff updated on policy changesPrepare & Present Reports on coding performance, backlog trends, and compliance issues to leadership
Qualifications:
Advanced Coding Knowledge – Strong expertise in inpatient and ambulatory medical codingDoD Coding Experience – Familiarity with DHA policies, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and federal coding guidelinesLeadership Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience managing a medical coding or billing team, preferably in a remote settingAnalytical & Reporting Skills – Ability to review data metrics, track productivity, and address performance shortfallsCertifications Preferred – CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or equivalent coding certification
