Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Natick, Massachusetts. As a Billing Clerk, you will be expected to efficiently handle various billing procedures, including real estate tax payments, personal property tax, motor vehicle tax, and water payments. This role is set within the industry and will involve the use of several accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Handle cash and check payments for various taxes and bills • Employ technical and clerical skills in managing billing procedures • Maintain confidentiality in all transactions and customer interactions • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Use knowledge of collection principles, including interest and penalties • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and other relevant software for administrative tasks • Understand and navigate town departmental operations and functions • Perform administrative work, with a focus on collections, interest, and penalties • Manage cash effectively as per the requirements • Use Munis System and other accounting software systems proficiently • Handle tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Respond to inbound calls as needed.
