The WMS Billing Auditor will oversee all auditing of Contract Logistics billing for the Moving and Logistics business line. Will gain an understanding of customer contracts and setups to thoroughly review the billing prior to finalizing charges and distributing invoices to customers. Will work directly with Operations on any discrepancies. Will work directly with the customers on any questions or concerns they may have. Will work with the Controller and Collections to resolve any credit memos, billing adjustments, or past due invoices that require additional information or research.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Finalize all Warehouse Management System (WMS) billing upon completion by each branch’s Logistics Coordinators.
+ Generate ancillary/miscellaneous charges as needed.
+ Gain a working knowledge of each customer’s contractual requirements and revenue opportunities to ensure no potential revenue is missed.
+ Perform customer setups within the WMS to ensure maximum automation and standardization as well as accurate application of contractual charges.
+ Work directly with each branch’s operations team including the Logistics Coordinators and Operations Managers, as well as the Controller, upper management as needed, and the customers.
+ Distribute invoices to customers and answer any questions they may have.
+ Coordinate credit memos as needed with the Collections team and the Controller.
+ Maintain and be able to provide accurate and thorough records for internal audits, external audits, and customer requests.
+ Work closely with Operations and the Controller during end of month closing to ensure all revenue is finalized and submitted prior to the deadline.
Education & Experience:
+ Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Operations:
+ To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (focus on Outlook and Excel), and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as the Warehouse Management Systems HighJump and Logimax, third party billing sites, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.
