Description Our client, a respected legal services firm based in San Diego, CA is seeking a Billing Analyst to join their team. Key Responsibilities: + Generate and review client invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with contract terms and billing guidelines. + Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and the finance team to gather billing details and reconcile discrepancies. + Maintain up-to-date billing records, track client payments, and provide monthly reporting to leadership on accounts receivable status. + Identify opportunities for process improvement, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. + Experience with e-billing platforms (e.g., Elite, Aderant, or similar) is highly desirable. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in billing or accounting within the legal industry or professional services is required. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas. Experience with legal billing systems is a plus. + Demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of data with exceptional accuracy. + Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels. + Must be proactive in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
