Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst for a Contract-to-Permanent position in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves managing a backlog of invoice requests, ensuring accuracy in complex billing processes, and collaborating across teams to maintain financial consistency. Responsibilities: • Process a high volume of invoice requests efficiently while maintaining accuracy. • Review and analyze complex contracts and budgets to ensure accurate billing and invoicing. • Perform reconciliations to verify the consistency and accuracy of billing and accounting records. • Leverage intermediate Excel skills, such as creating formulas, to streamline billing processes and organize data. • Utilize enterprise resource planning systems for billing purposes; experience with Great Plains is highly preferred. • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and clarify contract terms. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all billing activities. • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency in billing operations. • Manage priorities effectively to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and use formulas for data analysis. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex contracts and budgets. • Experience with account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records. • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems; prior experience with Great Plains is a plus. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage high-priority tasks. • Strong communication skills to coordinate with various internal teams. • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
