This is a Contract to Hire position for a Bilingual Quality Inspector on 3rd shift in Round Rock, TX. The opportunity provides an hourly rate of $20/hr and a work schedule of 11pm-6am, Sun-Thur. Overtime may be necessary at times.
What you'll do as: Quality Inspector:
Inspecting and testing products or processesDocumenting and analyzing dataUsing specialized tools for inspectionParticipating in ISO auditsCommunicating with the Production departmentReview Specifications, standards, and/or test plans of customer designs, and report feedback to the management.Give feedback to the Production department regarding any errors or non-conformances in the assembly process verbally or through written documentation.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate should have the following:
Experience in wood product manufacturingExperience in quality inspectionKnowledge of inspection planning and processesAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsBilingual in English and Spanish (must have)Must be willing to work Saturday and Sundays as needed as well as overtimeMust wear steel toe shoes/boots and other required personal protection equipment. (we provide safety vest and safety glasses.)Proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn proprietary software.Ability to use measurement instruments and testing tools (i.e., measuring tape, calipers, etc.).Must pass pre-employment criminal background checkMust pass pre-employment drug testMust be authorized to work in the United States
