**Role responsibilities:**
- The Bid and Proposal Specialist will be a key hire, managing the entire bid process from opportunity identification to final delivery, while shaping winning strategies and ensuring seamless execution.
- They will take ownership of the full bid cycle, including pre-positioning, win strategies, storyboarding, response development, submission, and post-bid feedback.
- The role involves working closely with internal and external teams, ensuring all submissions are tailored, high-quality, and delivered on time.
- Collaboration will be key, as the specialist will foster knowledge sharing and implement best practices across the business to enhance bid processes.

**What they are looking for:**
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in bid management, with proven success in establishing and improving best practices. Experience in architecture or a construction-related field is highly valued, particularly with knowledge of RIBA Design stages, supply chain roles, and various procurement methods.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills are a must, along with the ability to translate complex technical content into clear and persuasive proposals.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple bids, are crucial. APMP certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with tools such as InDesign, Microsoft 365, and CRM systems is beneficial, along with additional language skills.
