Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island is seeking an experienced and passionate Beverage Manager to lead and elevate our beverage program across the resort. This role is ideal for a visionary professional with a deep appreciation for fine wines, creative mixology, and luxury service standards. You will be responsible for curating exceptional beverage experiences, driving performance across all bars and restaurants, and ensuring our beverage offering reflects the unique spirit of Waldorf Astoria and the island environment.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\nOversee the beverage operations across the resort, including all bars, restaurants, in-villa dining, and special events.
\n\n\nDevelop and implement creative and trend-forward cocktail menus and beverage pairings, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation.
\n\n\nMaintain a strong wine and spirits list that caters to diverse guest preferences, including a focus on Mediterranean pairings and island-inspired selections.
\n\n\nTrain and mentor the bar and service teams to deliver engaging and knowledgeable service, aligned with Forbes and Hilton Luxury standards.
\n\n\nEnsure beverage cost control, inventory management, and procurement align with budgetary targets.
\n\n\nCollaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless food and beverage pairing experiences.
\n\n\nDrive guest engagement through signature experiences such as tastings, masterclasses, and bespoke beverage journeys.
\n\n\nMonitor guest feedback and continuously improve the beverage offering and service delivery.
\n\n\nEnsure full compliance with all local laws and resort policies related to alcohol service, safety, and hygiene.
\n\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\n\nMinimum 4–5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end resort setting.
\n\n\nExtensive knowledge of global wines, premium spirits, and craft cocktails.
\n\n\nCertification from WSET or other beverage/spirits-related institutions preferred.
\n\n\nProven leadership skills with experience training and managing multicultural teams.
\n\n\nStrong financial acumen and ability to drive revenue through effective pricing and upselling.
\n\n\nPassion for hospitality, guest engagement, and creating memorable experiences.
\n\n\nAbility to adapt and thrive in a remote, island environment with flexibility and resilience.
