Benefits Supervisor

Job Description:

General Summary:
The Benefits Supervisor will manage all aspects of benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, OSHA, FMLA, COBRA and HIPAA for Ghafari Associates, LLC. This position is required to be in the office four (4) days a week.
 

Essential Job Functions:

Ensure legal compliance with respect to benefits plansImplement benefit changes based on company directivesCommunicate benefit plans to employeesManage the yearly benefits open enrollment processLimited oversight for international benefitsManage the annual 401(k) processes and auditsManage insurance vendors, third party administrators, benefit consultants, and the 401(k) providerManage the HRIS program as it relates to the benefits and leaves/absence modulesConsult with the HRIS vendor regarding set-up and changes for the benefits departmentManage disability, family medical leave, and other leaves.Perform related duties as assigned

Employment Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance preferred


Experience:

7-10 years of professional benefits experience, demonstrating knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job3-5 years of experience within a global organizationPrevious supervisory experience


Skills/Competencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows 10/11, HRIS software (preferably Workday)Experience with Deltek VantagePoint and ADP a bonusKnowledge of HIPAA regulations, benefit regulations, and insurance company/third-party administrator administration websitesExcellent written and oral communication skillsMinimal travel required
