Who We Want The Benefits Specialist is responsible for assisting with administering Arrive’s employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, supplemental programs, wellness initiatives, and the 401(k) plan. The Benefits Specialist is responsible for ensuring that employees are properly enrolled in and understand what benefits plans are available to them while also maintaining compliance with regulations regarding those benefits. To be successful in this position, the Benefits Specialist should have excellent communication and organizational skills and a solid understanding of various benefits programs and processes. What You'll DoAssists in coordinating the enrollment process for new hires, for employees experiencing life events, and for existing employees during open enrollment periods, including the accuracy of enrollments and changes, explaining plan options and assisting with selections. Facilitates and provides comprehensive benefits information and education to new hires during their onboarding process.Supports the open enrollment process including collaborating with the HRIS team on Workday setups and testing, creating and delivering communication materials and setting up onsite employee meetings and educational webinars. Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, eligibility, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.Monitors all weekly vendor file integrations to ensure accurate and timely reporting, corrects warnings and errors, and manages any necessary manual uploads as needed. Monitors and/or updates Workday configurations for all benefits programs.Assists as needed on processes, procedures and audits to ensure benefits plans are in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. Assists with auditing and completing required processes and documentation for funding employee 401(k) and HSA payroll contributions in a timely manner.Performs quality checks and internal audits as needed or at a minimum of every six months to ensure accurate reporting.Creates and distributes educational materials regarding benefits packages, conducts benefits presentations, maintains and updates the benefits portal and supports Arrive’s benefit communication strategy by working with Marketing and vendors to recommend content and timing, setting up webinars or online or onsite wellness programs. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study.2+ years of experience in HR benefits administration.Strong understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex benefits information to employees.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and analyze data.Detail orientated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and webinars, and reading professional publications.
