Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Benefits Specialist to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will administer colleague benefits programs, such as health and ancillary insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other offerings managed by the department. This role ensures that colleagues have access to the benefits offered by the company and assist with enrollment, communication, compliance, and timely issue resolution. Provides support to all levels of the organization, including back-up to the Senior Leave & Benefit Specialist. Compensation range: $60,000 USD to $70,000 USD

Manage day-to-day operations of benefits programs, including health and ancillary insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other colleague benefits Assist colleagues with benefits enrollment, changes, and claims advocacy Administer benefits eligibility and ensure accurate, up-to-date benefits data is maintained in HR systems Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations (e.g., ACA, FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA) to ensure compliance Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including government filings Assist with audits related to benefits programs Calculates, audits and submits vendor invoices in a timely manner Serve as a point of contact for colleagues with questions or issues regarding their benefits Conduct informational sessions to educate colleagues on available benefits options. Resolve colleague benefits issues in a timely and efficient manner Organize and assist with the open enrollment process for health and ancillary benefits Provide clear communication about changes, deadlines, and options available to colleagues Liaise with benefits vendors and insurance carriers to manage the company’s benefits plans Track vendor performance and assist in evaluating vendor contracts for improvements or cost savings Provide regular reports on benefit plan usage, costs, and colleague participation rates Develop and distribute benefits-related communication, such as newsletters, flyers, and emails, to keep colleagues informed Provide education and training to colleagues regarding benefits options and use of benefits systems Assists in the administration of 401(k) retirement benefits including eligibility, discretionary match calculation, 5500 audit preparation and other compliance requirements Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training Performs other related duties as assignedWhat You’ll Need

Minimum Experience:
2 years of experience in benefits administration or related HR function Knowledge and experience working with employee general benefits administration (including health & welfare and retirement) required
