The Benefits Specialist will provide Employee Benefits Specialist support at the direction of the Team Lead to primarily support World Risk Management (“WRM”) client(s).  May also support Employee Benefits Account Management, Sales and Underwriting functions at direction of Team Lead.

What You'll Do Responsible for drafting and assembling client communications and guidebooks; assist with client employee benefit and/or industry survey and/or other employee-benefits related projects; peer review client deliverables for materials for accuracy; respond to client inquiries on billing, eligibility, and benefit issues; edit and assemble various client PowerPoint presentations; schedule and coordinate vendor presentations; attend open enrollment on site events; and support marketing activities as directed by Team Lead .  Provide direct support on specific group(s), as assigned, including regularly obtaining and saving down carrier reporting; tracking financial reports; learning, understanding and using clients’ benefits administration system; strictly following established processes including open enrollment support, and data collection and sharing.Responsible for maintaining strong relationship with carriers and external business partners, including but not limited to having a clear understanding of carrier’s product offerings and processes to maintain efficient workflow and  maintaining general product knowledge.Follows agency policies and procedures including but not limited to entering plan information via Agency management system, HIPAA compliance, and filing and file maintenance.Participates in special projects/teams, proactively identifies area to assist team members, assists in workflow review and improvement initiatives, and performs all other activities inside and outside of job scope. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.  Demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations impacting employee benefits.  Grow, with us
