Benefits Data and Architect Analyst

We’re looking for an experience data analyst professional to fill this role. Reporting to the Manager, Employee Benefits Administration this position will fill a key role in providing data analytics and reporting for the Global Benefits team. This position is to work with the Global Benefits team to support the administration and compliance of shoreside and fleet benefit programs and Carnival-wide fleet surveys across the brands for privileges. This position will be responsible for supporting master data and system management activities. The Benefits Data & Architect Analyst will support the conversion from our MAPS system to the new Mistral system and assist with the maintenance of data in Mistral. This position will review and compare data in current and future systems to ensure accuracy and to identify data discrepancies, to make recommendations on how to maintain updates and to create documentation of data elements needed from multiple sources were needed. This position will have standard processes to develop and improve current processes, and this potion will also support ad hoc projects, ongoing strategies, and leadership reporting. New and ongoing reporting will also be needed to ensure the team has complete data to use for benefit administration, planning and budget modelling. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Benefits Data & Architect Analyst, is this you? **Responsibilities** **Develop Benefits Analytics Dashboard/Reporting** + Gather, organize, reconcile, clean-up large data sets and conduct relevant analyses and recommendations to support benefit plan administration and compliance for multiple brands. + Understand, and document as needed, end to end process and create process data flows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across multiple data sources. + Create, maintain, and update Benefit compliance Reports + Mine and analyze data from company databases using Oracle, Dayforce, and ADP EV5 legacy data to drive optimization and business strategies. Where needed also compare data to MAPS today, Mistral in the future, bswift our enrollment vendor and other data sources as identified. + Utilize tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, Power bi and other tools as identified helpful to administer benefits. + Create combined data sets from multiple sources using modern data architecture methods for best practice data modeling, reporting and analytics + Embrace collaboration and develop creative solutions via minimum viable products that validate and improve the effectiveness of these solutions + Ensure data integrity and solution compliance with PII, SOX and other laws and regulations **Contribute to Strategic Initiatives** + Works closely with Mistral Implementation Team and Benefits team to ensure integrity of data migration, accuracy of delivered and developed reports and fields in Mistral. + Works closely with Manger of HRIS & Sr Manger of Reporting & Analytics to create audit and compliance reports against the business rules for data in systems and develops controls and alerts for various teams to know if rules have not been adhered to. **Customer Service/Teamwork** + Delivers customer service that aligns with HA Group brand’s Core Values, ensure positive outcomes by listening carefully to customer’s and coworker’s needs + Works collaboratively in team environments to complete assignments by specified deadlines **Core Values and Culture** + Demonstrates commitment to core values through behavior, attitude, and performance + Exhibits integrity, fairness, and professionalism in everyday conduct + Earns trust by following through on commitments and accepting accountability for actions + Contributes to a positive work environment + Other duties as assigned by Global Benefits Director + Assist HRIS team members as requested **Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Human Resources HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, and data manipulation + 3-5 years’ experience with benefits and/or data analytics + Relevant history of progressive experience desired + Must have skill using Tableau, HR and payroll systems, Power BI and Snowflake, as well as other ancillary programs, including SQL for analysis + Track record of driving results in business analysis, process improvement, or finance. + Prior HR data experience/knowledge preferred but not required + Experience as Data Architect building dashboards and reports in Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, OTBI and other reporting tools as needed. Oracle HCM OTBI and Power BI experience preferred. + Strong analytical capability and aptitude. Demonstrated ability in process improvement, metric development, dashboard development, and problem solving + Fundamental understanding of business financial and account principles + Experience designing ETL processes + Strong MS Excel skills, specifically with Visual Basic macros + Experience in data mining + Excellent interpersonal and organization skills + Strong oral and written communication skills + Analytical business experience preferred + Ability to create Executive presentations + Ability to work independently and with minimal direction **What You Can Expect** + Cruise and Travel Privileges for You and Your Family + Health Benefits + 401(k) + Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Training & Professional Development + Tuition & Professional Certification Reimbursement + Rewards & Incentives + Base Salary Range: $74,100.00 to $100,00.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
