How will the Benefits Administrator contribute?
The Benefits Administrator will be a key player in ensuring a smooth and accurate benefits enrollment experience, timely administration, and ongoing support for Forward/Omni’s employees. This role requires equal parts technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service. It is a mix of process execution, compliance adherence, and employee engagement.
Initially, the Benefits Administrator will focus on learning Forward/Omni’s key Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) around benefits administration, managing employee enrollments, and responding to benefits related questions. They’ll also be processing invoices, conducting audits for data integrity, and ensuring that benefits records remain accurate and compliant with applicable laws and company policies. They will also act as the primary liaison with external benefits vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
What are the specific responsibilities of the Benefits Administrator?
Benefits Enrollment & Employee Support
Collaborate with our Benefits Administration partner to ensure timely and accurate benefits enrollments and accurate employee benefit records. Act as a point of escalation to assist employees with benefit enrollments, dependent eligibility verification, and processing qualified life event changes. Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.Compliance & Vendor Management
Serve as a contact for benefits administration vendor partners. Maintain compliance with government regulations and process QMCSOs. Perform audits, quality checks, and ensure the integrity of benefits data.Process Administration & Reporting
Work within the benefits administration partner’s case management system to assist with resolution of benefits related questions and concerns. Complete monthly invoice billing reconciliation and payment processes. Document and maintain administrative procedures for benefits processes. Provide detailed benefits administration reports on a scheduled and adhoc basis.Special Projects & Continuous Improvement
Assist with open enrollment, dependent eligibility verification audits, and new plan year audits. Develop communication tools to enhance employee knowledge and engagement with benefits. Support other administration and operations teams as needed.
