Bench Carpenter Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $21.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm)Perform rough assembly of product on a bench per production schedules and timelinesRead and interpret shop drawings and be able to work from cut listWork closely with the project lead to achieve production goals and develop strategies to remain within the materials and labor costs quoted for the jobOperates a safe work environment and keeps area neat and orderly, with materials and tools organized for efficient space utilizationPerforms other related duties or special projects as assigned

Bench Carpenter Qualifications:

One year minimum experience in woodworking or cabinet shop neededHas experience working with the following woodworking tools:Table Saw/SlidingTable SawOverhead SanderChop sawsTrim routersShaperHand held routersPneumatic toolsDrills & drill driversLayout toolsEffective communication skillsAbility to work independently, and follow directions, understand and interpret drawings, details, and written instructionsProficient at using a tape measureHS Diploma or GEDFrequently lift 50 poundsPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
