Regulator Bench Assembler

Location: San Antonio, TX

Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking a Regulator Bench Assembler to join our team The Regulator Bench Assembler will assemble test and package – regulators and other associated hardware assemblies according to established work instructions. They will accomplish this by using a variety of hand and/or power tools, fixtures and work instructions and test equipment to perform a variety of operations to correctly assemble/test Specialty Gas Devices.

The position is responsible for their own work and will adhere to establish company policies and procedures, paying special attention to all safety protocols and procedures. Position will regularly interface with other assemblers and employees in the facility.

What you will be doing:

· Prepare for assembly by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, etc.

· Locate and gather parts for assembly and visually inspect and assemble components for Specialty Gas Regulators / equipment.

· Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and any sub-assemblies.

· 100% function tests to ensure flow and no leakage

· Operate hand or bench type power tools.

· Verifies specifications by reviewing assembly instructions.

· Resolves any assembly problems and reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor.

· Maintains a safe and clean work area by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations.

· Ensure Safety procedures are followed during lifting equipment, assembly and calibration of Specialty Gas Devices. Wears safety equipment as required to perform duties.

· Document work actions by completing production and quality forms.

· Other duties as assigned.
