City Las Vegas State NV Shift Varies Type of Shift Part Time Department Hotel Ops (excluding Housekeeping & EVS) Bellperson The Strat (Las Vegas, NV) Description: Summary: Assist with the delivery of luggage to and from the guest room for hotel/casino guests in a safe and efficient manner. Inform guests of property information, events, amenities, and room features. Act as an ambassador of the property by providing excellent guest service to all guests. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: + Assist with the delivery of guest luggage to and from the guest room + Ensure luggage is secure at all times while in the possession of the property + Keep work area clean and ensure bell carts are in excellent condition and working order + Greet guests and answer any questions they may have, including information regarding property products, services and/or events + Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees + Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Qualifications + Previous experience working in a front desk, reception, or front of house position with face to face communication with guests + Prior experience performing same or similar job duties preferred + Previous experience providing outstanding guest service + Basic computer skills + At least 18 years of age + Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal + Bilingual in Spanish preferred + Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company + Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards + None Physical Requirements + Frequently push and/or pull up to 350 lbs. + Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels, and over head + Occasionally bend, reach, twist, and squat + Frequently distinguish between shades of color + Constantly walk, stand, communicate via radio, and use hearing and vision Work Environment Potential Conditions + Indoor and outdoor + Smoky and noisy + Extreme hot and cold temperatures, including humidity + Slippery surfaces, and exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases + Extreme heights Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
