AIM seeks a Behavioral Intervention and Supports Services Specialist (PBIS) staff member to join our mission-driven organization. Our growing team is offering a full benefits package that includes: Competitive salary Life insurance 403(b) with matching Paid Time Off A culture of work/life balance Purpose: The PBIS assists participants with significant behavioral difficulties that jeopardize their ability to remain in the community of choice due to inappropriate responses to events in their environment to participants receiving services through the NHTD/TBI waiver program. Essential Functions: + Provide 1:1 behavioral support counseling to participants to assist in managing maladaptive behaviors. + Behavioral support counseling is held in the person's home unless otherwise indicated. + Ensure proper review and submission of all required documentation for billing. + Attend all agency and participant meetings as required. + Advocate with, or on behalf of consumers as needed, to ensure equal access to community resources, and compliance with ADA. + Develop behavioral support plans. + Provide behavioral support training, including self-management skills, to program participants and their circle of support. Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or; + Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or; + Bachelor’s and a Certified Dementia Practitioner or; + Bachelor’s and a CARES Dementia Specialist or; + Registered Professional Nurse or; + Licensed Occupational Therapist or; + Licensed Physical Therapist or; + Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant or; + Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree and Certified TBI Specialist or; + A Certified Rehabilitation Counselor AND + Must have two years of experience developing and implementing intensive behavioral treatment plans. + Reliable transportation.
