Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor BHT staff engagement and provides regular direct supervision to BHT department
• Develops and maintains staff schedules. (programming for BHT’s) and communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs.
• Assists in training of new staff members and develops orientation, curriculum, and training programs (new and ongoing)
• Assists in intervention of clients who are in crisis mode to utilize the least restrictive procedure necessary.
• Monitors the department documentation to ensure compliance.
• Coordinates transportation needs throughout the facility.
• Attends treatment team meetings, shift change and company meetings as required
• Responsible for confiscation and inventory management of client items.
• Assists Human Resources with recruitment and interviewing of new BHT’s.
• Involvement in disciplinary action process of BHT’s and BHT Supervisors.
• Conduct performance evaluations for the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience:
