Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Professional 2 to provide clinical information and education through inbound and outbound calls, triaging behavioral health crisis calls. This role involves using established protocols and independent professional judgment to document assessments, plans, interventions, and results. You will collaborate with internal and external agency personnel to meet callers' needs, promote recovery concepts, and inspire hope.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming telephone calls and triage behavioral health needs.Document calls and actions using standard computer software applications.Provide resources and education to non-licensed behavioral health staff.Schedule and make follow-up calls to facilitate care.Promote recovery concepts and inspire hope.Work with internal and external agency personnel to meet callers' needs.Provide professional assessments and interventions within the scope of relevant licensure.Provide information and behavioral health education to callers.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.2-4 years of Behavioral Health experience in crisis interventions, case management, behavioral interventions, therapy, assessment and intake, or related area.Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and data entry systems.Strong abilities in data entry, typing, call documentation, and customer service skills including active listening.Experience in telephonic counseling and/or managed care setting preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have one of the following licenses or certifications: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Masters Social Worker, Registered Nurse.Work Environment
This position is 100% remote, with working hours from Monday to Wednesday and then Saturday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Arizona Time. The first three days involve meeting the Clinical Manager and assigned supervisor, setting up applications on the computer, and completing online training. The first week includes Zoom training sessions, followed by 2-3 weeks with a current crisis professional.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
