Position Overview
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Analytical Product Manager to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge analytical products that drive business decision-making and performance. This role is ideal for a driven creative problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of technology, visual design, and data analytics, and who excels in partnering with business executives, finance and accounting, and cross functional teams to develop impactful business insights solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development, Data Visualization, and Innovation:
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and proactively apply user-centered design and UI/UX principles to design and develop user-friendly, concise, and visually compelling dashboards, tools, and applications that enable users to extract insights efficiently. Transform complex business datasets, strategy and qualitative nuances into actionable insights that are aligned with business vision and drive decision-making.
Collaboration & Business Partnership:
Serve as a thought partner to executives, finance and accounting, and cross-functional teams, understanding their goals to design solutions that address strategic and operational needs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders through concise verbal and graphical manner, providing innovative ways to convey complex ideas.
Project, People and Change Management:
Able to advise, partner and deliver the end-to-end of strategic analytical products, including scoping, prototyping, timelines and prioritization, development, and quality assurance. Manage complex projects with multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Gain trust and build strong partnership with the user community on proactive change management throughout a product life-cycle.
Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of working full-time in a business environment with 2 years of hands-on experience working with user-centered design and data analytics, including visualizing, querying, and modeling datasets. Proven track record of working with executives, finance and accounting, IT and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital solutions.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, data analytics, user-centered design (such as human-computer interaction, graphic design, architecture, industrial design, etc.) or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
UI/UX design: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visually communicate product concepts and vision to stakeholders using design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic tools.
Data analytics: Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and able to deliver solid data analytics solutions using semantic modeling, Google BigQuery, DAX.
Strong digital aptitude: Ability to advise and build lean automation solutions, using Microsoft Power Platform. A keen learner of AI-related solutions.
Familiarity with financial and accounting principles to inform data interpretation and product development.
Design & Communication Skills towards innovative problem-solving:
Exceptional communication skills with business executives, management, and frontline team members, with the ability to convey ideas verbally and graphically in an innovative, concise manner. Strong ability to design visually engaging, intuitive tools with clear insights and navigation. A creative mindset with a history of solving complex business challenges through innovative solutions.
Management Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Proven experience in solution change management. Experience leading or mentoring team members, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile environments. Familiarity with advanced data analytics techniques or tools.
Food Industry/CPG perishable experience, worked at a commercial exec level, worked with supply chain, familiar with manufacturing.
Knowledge of business strategy, financial analysis, and forecasting.
