Ensure that the beach truck and equipment is clean on a daily basis according to the Anantara Standards.Ensure that the beach truck is washed down after every use and cleaned once per week, as per truck operational manual.Ensure all breakages and maintenance issues are reported to the management every day.To softening and levelling the sand on a daily basis and ensure the beach areas are looking spotless.Keep mileage records and repairs up-to-dateEnsures the vehicle is always fuelled and ready for usedRecreation- Pool- Beach
Perform Pools & Beach coverage tasks listFollow all guidelines of the Recreation Department operational Sop’s and task lists as providedOrganize, clean and maintain the entire Recreation Area and back offices,Carry out daily cleaning of the facility, plus weekly and monthly tasks as assigned by the Pool and Beach Supervisor or Activities Manager.Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned, stored and is secure when not in use.Take towels to and from the laundry ensuring an adequate operational stock is maintained at all times.Carry out other duties as required by management from time to time, such as but not limited to lateral service in other parts of the Hotel and overnight cleaningEnsure excellent customer service and standards at all times as well as behaving in a professional manner when on and off dutyMaintain complete knowledge and comply with all the companies and department, policies and proceduresSet up workstation(s) with necessary supplies along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.Focus attention on guests needs while remaining calm and courteous, and accommodate to all guest requests expediently and courteously Full understanding of the Recreation’s activities and eventsServices
Provide amenities services to our Hotels guests, as outlined in SOP or as directed by supervisorEnsure that the amenities are always available for our guests.Other Duties
Perform all tasks as detailed in daily task list and check listFull understanding of the Recreation Facilities and activities.Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area of all timesParticipate in work related project teamsDevelop and maintain a strong working environment with the other departments.To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel, and in particular all the sports and leisure activities and equipment in the hotel.Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for RecreationBe prepared to assume other Recreation duties or responsibilities as requested by management.Drive revenues for the department.QualificationsExperience
Must have a valid driving license for heavy vehicles.Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position with Anantara or similar companyEducation
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust possess a current internationally recognized First Aid Certification
