Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients / partners in both the construction and semiconductor sectors. Analyze competitors and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth. Strategic Account Penetration: Penetrate named accounts by working in partnership with General Contractors in order to expand Black Box’s footprint within the semiconductor sector. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with GCs and prospective clients. Understand their needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions that address their specific requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant throughout the sales process. Solution Selling: Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and solution engineers, to develop comprehensive solutions that meet client needs. Present these solutions to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner. Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. Close sales and achieve revenue targets. Account Management: Manage ongoing client relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Provide exceptional customer service and support to foster long-term partnerships. Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including lead generation, meetings, and opportunities. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or related work experience  10+ years proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the technology industry with 2+ years partnering with general contractors in the pre-construction phase and beyond. Strong understanding of infrastructure and connectivity technologies, including networking, cloud computing, and data center solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization. Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to exceed sales targets and achieve business objectives.
