Job Description
To uphold the Fairmont Breakers values and mission statement while performing positional responsibilities.To adhere to company policy and procedures, as stated in the company handbookConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceExceed guest expectationsExtensive food, liquor, beer, wine and cocktail knowledgePrepare basic beverages for guest service up to and including basic cocktailsInteract with guests in a way that makes them feel specialProper and friendly service when in contact with all guestsComply with liquor lawsMaintain accountability, both personal and financialControl bar costsMaintain cleanliness and organization of bar prep area and barControl cost and wasteClose out paper work thoroughlyMaintain extensive knowledge of menu, food preparation techniquesBe pro-active by assisting co-workersSupport and assist ManagersBe proficient with all aspects and services of the propertyBe familiar with all food outlets and amenities within the propertyBe knowledgeable of general city information as well as hotel historyPersonal and financial accountabilityBe an ambassador for the department, the property and the brandMaintain regular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience required preferably in upscale settingPrevious bartender experience requiredPrevious point of sale system experience preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliable.
