As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing Guests with food and drinks as requested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedure and bar regulations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nWelcome guests and determine their coffee preferences\nPromote coffee consumption by educating customers\nExplain and present the coffee menu, answering any questions\nPrepare and serve coffee drinks (e.g., espresso, cappuccino) following recipes and techniques\nMaintain inventory by replenishing coffee beans, brewing equipment, and supplies\nManage bar shifts efficiently, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations\nContinuously gain knowledge in all areas of bar supervision\nEnsure timely service by delivering food and drinks to tables as requested\nImprove processes and enhance the appearance of the coffee bar\nMaintain equipment functionality through instructions, troubleshooting, and maintenance\nEnsure a safe and sanitary work environment, following hygiene and safety regulations\nShow full awareness of food and drink menus and be ready to recommend items\nComply with company health and safety regulations and fire procedures\nMaximize revenue through upselling, exceptional customer service, and training\nDemonstrate perfect knowledge of beverages and ensure staff are trained in preparation and presentation\nGenerate new revenue by attracting customers and offering new services/products\nStay updated on coffee industry trends and knowledge\nTake ownership of tasks and seek opportunities to improve\nWhat are we looking for?
