Overview We are looking for 2 Seasonal - highly motivated, and customer focused individual to join our team as a Barista team with day/night availiblity. The ideal candidate will provide world-class customer service by delivering timely and friendly coffee bar service, suggestive selling, maintaining product presentation standards, and maintaining coffee bar cleanliness. The position is located within the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center at our Starbucks kiosk called STEAM. Position is a seasonal part time Barista with am/pm , weekend/ holiday availiblity. DO YOU LOVE COFFEE and making peoples SMILE. Above all, the Barista must provide exceptional guest service to every guest, every time! Greet guests with a smile and make them feel welcome from the moment they step through our doors. Provide outstanding service by taking orders, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring accurate delivery of food and beverages. Knowledge of Starbucks coffee/ beverages and accurate preparation of beverages Processing transactions (cash, credit card and room charge) in the POS system Completing all side work and opening/closing duties; completing all paperwork associated with closing cashier at the end of the shift. Maintaining knowledge of the property and local events to answer guest inquiries. Qualifications • A magnetic personality with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service. • Six months’ previous experience as a Barista is preferred, especially if it was a Starbucks. • Outstanding communication skills that make connecting with guests a breeze. • Ability to thrive under pressure, turning hectic moments into opportunities to shine. • A love for coffee that translates into an infectious enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge with guests. • Flexibility in scheduling to include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
