Your Journey  

Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and execution of food ordersCollaborate with associates to meet production goals and ensure smooth kitchen operationsAssist with training new kitchen associatesSupervise and mentor cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as neededCreative an innovate new menu items and specialsSkillfully prepare hot and cold foods that meet our high standardsMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.Maintain a clean working environment in compliance with health and safety standardsMaintain high standards of service and attention to detailDeliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW momentsPerform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

About You  

You enjoy creating new recipes and cooking food  You have basic communication skills You are open to learning, developing, and growing both yourself, personally, and helping others do the sameYou are trustworthy and have integrity 

Must Haves  

Knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methodsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysAbility to collaborate in a team environment with excellent communication skillsThree years minimum of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel environmentBasic computer skillsLuxury hotel experience, a plus

Physical Requirements  

Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending overAbility to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shiftAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shiftAbility to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi -regular basisMust be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers ( -10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)

The pay scale for this position is $30.36.
