A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for set\-up and clean\-up of banquet functions\. Sets\-up tables and chairs to meet the function specifications\. Cleans meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events\. Vacuums, sweeps, mops, polishes, wipes other areas clean before during and after events\.
**What will I be doing?**
As Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for set\-up and clean\-up of banquet functions\. Sets\-up tables and chairs to meet the function specifications\. Cleans meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events\. Vacuums, sweeps, mops, polishes, wipes other areas clean before during and after events\. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Set up tables and chairs to meet the function specifications\.
+ Properly clean meeting space at beginning, during, and end of events, including not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping, scrubbing\.
+ Completes assigned side work to include cleaning meeting space and storage space that adhere to standard hotel products as assigned to adhere to health standards\.
+ Keeps work area clean and organized\.
+ Available to work Overnight and Nights
**What are we looking for?**
**EXPERIENCE**
Prior Banquet department experience required\.
**LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES**
Ability to obtain government license or certificate\.
**GROOMING**
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well\-groomed appearance \(specific standards available\)\.
**OTHER**
Additional language ability preferred\.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation\.
+ Basic knowledge of Meeting Room Set up, service standards, guest relations and etiquette\.
+ Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware\.
+ Must possess strong organizational skills\.
+ Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism
