Cambria Hotel Nashville Downtown boasts 255 guest rooms and 4055 sq. ft. of event space. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the service of food and beverage in support of banquet events. Assists in the set-up and break down of banquet rooms, provides service during banquet events and performs side work as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Read banquet event orders and know how to set room per guest specifications. · Set tables in assigned area using clean linen, clean and unspotted silverware, clean china and clean unspotted glassware. · Properly cleans and fills table complements such as salt and pepper, sugar, bread baskets, etc. · Keep server stations neat and clean during service. · Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray break-down procedures. · Assist in breaking down buffets, other special food service tables, and equipment. · Ensure alcohol awareness procedures are in place and notify supervisor of any guest incidents. · Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times. · Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: · Able to carry trays and move items weighing up to 30 pounds. · Strong customer service skills.
