Banquet Houseman O/C

The Banquet Houseman is directly responsible for all functions directly assigned to him/her and is expected to assists the banquet manager, assistant manager and the banquet Lead-Houseman in setting and cleaning all banquet events according to BEO specifications in a timely, efficient and professional manner and according to BEO specifications within acceptable time frames.     Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

Responsible for proper placement, setting and display of all Meetings, Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners, Breaks, Receptions, Concerts, Exhibits etc. Sets tables, meeting Items, table linen, table Skirts, glassware, buffets, service stations, and any other required items listed on the BEO. During Concerts and Exhibits a houseman will perform housekeeping duties such as mapping, cleaning floors and taking  out trash Assures that all equipment is stacked/stored neatly prior to each shift ending. Inspects all place settings including table alignment, meeting Items, table linen, glassware, buffets, service stations, room appearance, and any other required items listed on the BEO This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description.  Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company. Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience in an upscale hotel/resort Banquet Setups operation is preferred but not required. Must understand and be able to establish Basic English conversations. Must have at least one year of Customer Service experience. Must understand basic conversational English. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift at least 50 pounds, and carry items long distances, traverse stairs and ramps, bend at the waist, push heavy equipment, and do strenuous work in a consistent manner Must be capable of performing Physical activity including walking and climbing, pushing and hulling, carrying, placing and moving diverse banquet and Concert equipment driving a Fork Lift.

Work Environment Employees working the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise.
